Review: The Assassin's Curse by Cassandra Rose Clarke

Title: The Assassin's Curse
Author: Cassandra Rose Clarke
Reviewed by: Cass!
Summary (from Goodreads.com)

Ananna of the Tanarau abandons ship when her parents try to marry her off to an allying pirate clan: she wants to captain her own boat, not serve as second-in-command to her handsome yet clueless fiance. But her escape has dire consequences when she learns the scorned clan has sent an assassin after her.

And when the assassin, Naji, finally catches up with her, things get even worse. Ananna inadvertently triggers a nasty curse -- with a life-altering result. Now Ananna and Naji are forced to become uneasy allies as they work together to break the curse and return their lives back to normal. Or at least as normal as the lives of a pirate and an assassin can be.

I have to be really honest guys! This book is the book that got me out of my book slump! First book I could finish in the longest time ever.
So why's it amazing?
EVERYTHING.
First and foremost (and most importantly?!):
The author's name. Cassandra- nice name, eh?
That's right. I love Teen Wolf.
SECOND REASON:
Ananna is a badass. And a pirate. And she's not perfect but SHE WORKS IT!
THIRD REASON:
Naji makes assassin sexy. And also scars on the face.
FOURTH REASON:
The world building is wicked.
FIFTH REASON:
EVERYTHING ABOUT IT.

There's not much romance but it's still AMAAAZING.

GO READ IT. NUFF SAID.
