Hey guys! If you guys are any bit curious, we are high schoolers in America (Chicago and Texas). We both abnormally enjoy reading books in our spare time, according to our classmates.
CASSIE
So. I hear you guys want the down-and-dirty on me. Well, let's get started!
My favorites (as in, FAVORITES) in order are...
1.) For Darkness Shows the Stars by Diana Peterfreund (EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS)
2.) The Shatter Me series by Tahereh Mafi (EVERYTHING)
3.) The Grisha series by Leigh Bardugo (let's face it, it's freaking AMAZING)
4.) Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein (absolutely bawled when I read this)
My favorite lighter books so far are...
The Infernal Devices series by Cassandra Clare (my, my she has a nice first name)
The Mara Dyer series by Michelle Hodkin
Spark by Brigid Kemmerer
The Sweet Trilogy by Wendy Higgins
The Lux series by Jennifer Armentrout
Basically I love me some sexy and/or sweet guys, a heroine who does not make me want to throw the book in a fire, and a good plot.
Or amazing writing can do the trick.
OKAY! FUN FACTS!
I'm really weird.
I love cats.
Me + Psychology = Happy times
I live in Texas now... BUT JUST WATCH. I'll be back in Chi-Town before you know it.
I'm rooming with Rafia no matter what in college. She'll learn to hate me.
RAFIA
Hey guys! I'm Rafia, one half of the Fairies. Basically having a book blog is putting two of my favorite things together, reading and blogging. I live in Chicago, and watch way too much TV, read too much, and procrastinate too much, but having a way to share my favorite books with others means so much to me, because it was the reason I became friends with Cassie.
I'm open to most genres, but young adult contemporary and historical fiction are my favorites. I love nothing more than getting feedback from our readers, and get ARCs, so please, hit us up at fictionfairies@gmail.com, whether its to complain, rant, rave, or tell us how awesome we are.
This is the blog of two best friends who bonded over Will Herondale, dancing in the rain, blue corn, and books and decided to make their book rants public.
